The Resurrection Of Christ Can Transform Your Life
"... I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified, He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell .. behold, He goeth before you ... " Matthew 28:5-7
They could never be the same after that. The tomb was empty! There was no question about it. He who was dead is now alive, "He is risen", the angel cried! And that glorious truth has been sounded about this time of year after year ever since.
I love Easter. The very season is inspiring. The snows have melted; the new green leaves are sparkling in the morning sun; and flowers are budding again.
If only we had a new outlook to go alone with the new look. The New Easter give us a New Faith (in Him) Easter can truly transform your life. What if the glorious risen Christ of Easter really comes into your heart?
These early Christians went on from the empty tomb to change the world around them. They embraced the "power of His resurrection" (Phil. 3:10). They learned that because He live, they could live too. They were "thick with the Almighty", as one old saint put it. After Easter, they were under new management!
Their lives were transformed by CRUCIFIED CHRSIT.
The angel said to the women in the verse 5 "Fear not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified." If Christ had not been crucified, then Scriptures was unfulfilled, and they had no Saviour at all. The Lamb had to die. The precious blood had to be shed. While we were yet sinners, Christ Jesus gave Himself for us ".. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures". (I Cor. 15:3)est, that He might bring us to God" (
God "made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him". Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:21.
He once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust. that He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18 )
God "made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him". Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:21 )
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" ( Romans 5:8 ).
Jesus later said, "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death" ( Revelation 1:18 )
Isn't that fantastic? He is alive from now on to keep and to save us.
He LAMB has become the LION. The rose of Sharon has bloomed and blossomed in all His glory.
The resurrection of Christ is the greatest single event in human history.
The crucifixion is over. His sacrifice was ONCE FOR ALL (Hebrews 10 ) His blood was sufficient. Now His grace is sufficient.
"He ever liveth to make intercession for us" we learn in Hebrews 7:25. So how can we fail?
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.
