will 2025 Be A Happy New Year?

Will 2025 Be A Happy New Year?
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new"
Will the year ahead be just another year, or will it be a new year? If it cannot be a new year in our Christian experience, how can it be a Happy New Year?
Sadly, for those without Christ, it will be just another year of uncertainty and fear, another year of drifting away from God, another year of thinking about the problems of the world. John Bunyan was right when he described the world as "a jungle full of beasts prowling about, snapping and snarling and showing their teeth at one another, albeit holding peace conferences. Let men talk about the dawning of a new day, but the fact remains that the Devil still "...deceiveth the whole world" (Revelation 12:9).
The answer to the world problems is the New Birth. For this old world, the phrase "A HAPPY NEW YEAR" is meaningless without the new birth. There cannot be a new year or a new life without knowing that we are born again; as life must begin at birth, so new life for the sinner must begin by rebirth. Man many make new resolutions, but what the world needs is a new men with new hearts and a new spirit to walk in newness of life.
There are some believers who fail to walk in newness of life because they have failed to put off the old life. God tells us to "PUT OFF" the old man and then "PUT ON THEW", (Colossians 3:9-10) "but be not conformed to this world" (Romans 12:2).. We are to be separated in heart and spirit from this present evil world. Let us remember that "...because ye are not of the world ... therefore the world hateth you". (John 15:19). When the world cannot hate you because it has no cause of quarrel with you, then you have compromised somewhere with the world. Spiritual non-conformity is one of the greatest needs of the hour.
Oh, to be like our blessed Lord, and to know more about him," should be our desire as we enter this year.
