When The Righteous Are In Authority
Proverbs 29:2
There are two types of leaders. There are those who believe in the Word of God and put it into practice in their leadership. They are those that treat people properly. They compliment them when they are doing well. People want to follow this leader and will do more for him simply because he knows how to treat people.
There are those who do not follow the teaching of the Word of God and who complain to those under his authority. They are not pleased with the productivity of their workers. This causes grumbling among those he leads, and he finds out that they are not happy with him as their leader.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
(Proverbs 29.2).
This brings to mind the thought of America when it was first established by wise men who loved the Lord and established a Nation under God's authority. They were led by faith to develop a nation that followed the principles of God and incorporated the teaching of the Bible into the Declaration of Independence. the Constitution, and so on. And while our nation followed the leadership of righteous men. The people rejoiced. God blessed America full at that time.
But over the years, there have been good leaders and bad leaders, all of which slowly allowed unrighteousness to enter into the leadership roll in order to please those who are
no so willing to be led by the principles of God ; now we must open our eyes to what is going on in the leadership of our country. Laws are being passed that not allow immorality but fund them. There are laws are being passed that are against Bible knowledge and against allowing Biblical classes to be taught on college campuses, as well as laws against military chaplains praying in public if they are in uniform.
Our country has become a wicked country led by people who have wicked minds pushing their wickedness on the population of our country, and the people mourn.
God will bless a nation that loves Him, but he is not so apt to bless a country that is trying to shove Him out the back door.
If we allow this keep up its progress there will be a time when God lifts His hand off of America. Then it will be too late to make it right again.
Our leaders are working for us, or they should be. They must lead in the way "We the People" want it to be.
If we want America to be blessed again we must bring into the leadership rolls in the Congress, Senate, President and the unelected Department of Justice, righteous leaders again.
America cannot afford to keep going as it has.
The change will not happen at the top but enough voters at the bottom can bring about rejoicing again.
What will you do about it?
