Have You Thanked Him?

Have You Thanked Him?

        The preacher then continued, "I know someone who was wounded for YOU."
       "Wounded for me, sir? Said the soldier, now surprised, "Who could that be?".

        "It was our Lord Jesus Christ", replied the preacher. The Bible says in Isaiah 53:5 that "...he was wounded for our transgressions..". With that the servant of the Lord was on his way, leaving the soldier to think of the ONE who was wounded for him.

        Have you seriously considered what the Lord Jesus Christ did for YOU? He saw you lost in your sin and came all the way from heaven to find you. He knew your sinful condition and He, who knew no sin, became sin for you so that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Have you trusted Him as your Saviour? Have you thanked Him for His work on your behalf on Calvary's cross? If not, open your heart today and receive Him as your own Saviour.



        God says, "Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me..." 
(Psalm 50:23 ) As we live for Him we can rely on His strength in our weakness. As we give praise for His faithfulness, we will glory Him ourselves and cause others He brings into our lives to glorify Him too. May we always exalt His only Name!
