The Blessings Of Bible Reading

      1 - Bible reading helps you get to know God

            Isaiah 55:8

    2 - Bible reading helps you to make less errors in life

            Matthew 22:29

    3 -  Bible reading shows God that you care

            Psalm 14:2-4

    4 - Bible reading makes you more spiritual 

            John 6:63

    5 - Bible reading allows you to have a better fellowship with 

    spiritual people

            James 4:4, Amos 3:3

     6 - Bible reading will make you more useful to God

            James 1:22

     7 - Bible reading will help you to establish a strong Christian

      testimony 

            Hebrews 4:12 (Power in the Word)

     8 - Bible reading will make you a better witness

            Proverbs 28:1

      9 - Bible reading gives purpose and direction in life

            Psalm 1:1-3


All of the verses above with links are connected to a site called King James Bible Online. Just click on the scripture and it will connect to the site with that particular scripture shown. 

For those who want to see the same verses in other versions (other than the King James Authorized Version), there is a site that has other versions that one can compare it with. It is a parallel Bible site;  Bible Study Tools - Compare Bible Translations; example John 3:16.

Part Two of My Trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC

This is the part where they had the King James Bibles. It gave some information on the history of it and there were a few King James Bibles too. There might be other photos of this floor where they have the history of the Bible and they will be part of a different blog. It took up the whole floor. There are six floors of the museum with floor having a different theme / part of the Bible. These photos are nice but one should go to the museum to really experience what they have and learn from what they show.  The upper part of the King James Bible sign.
