The Double Clasp
        "...neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."    
        (John 10:28-29).
The Savior's hand - how close to its hold,
That none can loosen, none can break,
No powers of heaven or earth or hell
That loving clasp can ever shake.

And over Jesus' wounded hand
The Father's hand of strength is laid.
Omnipotent to save and keep;
Thus is our surety surer made.

So, one beneath and one above,
The Father's and Son their hands unite.
How safe, how safe the ransomed are
Within that clasp of tender might!

Some Facts You Should Know About the Blood!

        Dr. Reuben A. Torrey once said to an audience: "If any of you should take your Bible and go through it, and cut out the New Testament and the Old Testament every passage that refers to the death of Christ, or to His atoning blood, you would only have a sadly torn and tattered Bible left, a Bible without heart, and a gospel without saving power."

        Indeed, every blessing that the believer enjoys comes to him through the merits of the shed blood of the Son of God.
        We are justified through His blood - Romans 5:9.

        We have redemption through His blood. Ephesians 1:7, 
1 Peter 1:18-19.

        We have a peace with God through the blood of His cross.
Colossians 1:20

        We have boldness to enter into the holiest. Hebrews 10:19

        We have victory over the devil. Revelation 12:11

        As we walk in the light, we are cleansed from all sin.
1 John 1:7

        Every worldly book will make the margin of all your thoughts the world in which you live. The Bible is the only BOOK that tells us to lay up our treasures in Heaven.

        Salvation is not giving up something, but it is the knowing Someone; Christ.

Part Two of My Trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC

This is the part where they had the King James Bibles. It gave some information on the history of it and there were a few King James Bibles too. There might be other photos of this floor where they have the history of the Bible and they will be part of a different blog. It took up the whole floor. There are six floors of the museum with floor having a different theme / part of the Bible. These photos are nice but one should go to the museum to really experience what they have and learn from what they show.  The upper part of the King James Bible sign.
