A Visual Representation of John 3:16 on things at the Café Press site.

I have designed a visual representation of John 3:16. I uploaded the design to my Café Press account. I have put it on some things and plan to put it on more things.

This is the visual representation of the first part of John 3:16

The outer part is God. God is a spirit. Since we don't know what God looks like, I used an abstract design for Him.

The next level is love. It is represented by a heart; a traditional symbol of love.

The next level is the world. It is represented by the globe; at least part of it. It shows the whole world since God's love covers the whole world.

The next level is Jesus the Christ. I used a figure of a person in a stylized form of clothing common back then (at least what I think it was).

The next and last level is the cross. It represents the extent of God's love and the sacrifice of what Jesus the Christ did. The cross - in my opinion - has gone from representing a painful death (during the earthly time of Jesus) to representing life (since it shows the extent of God's love for man).

I stopped at this point so those who see the design could ask about what it means and those wearing or using the design could use it to witness to what the other part that is not seen.
