Greater Love Hath No Man Than This?

 


John 15:13

"Greater love hath no man than this,
 that a man lay down his life for his friends."

I think this is a true sign of love that a person would lay down his life for a friend. I think it is even a greater sign of love when a man lays down his life for those who are strangers to him. 

I think the greatest sign of love is when Jesus the Christ laid down His life for those who are not his friends but strangers and sinners.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

It is not only the greatest love but also the greatest gift. The gift of eternal life.

John 3:15

"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."





A simple message for St Valentines day.

Part Two of My Trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC

This is the part where they had the King James Bibles. It gave some information on the history of it and there were a few King James Bibles too. There might be other photos of this floor where they have the history of the Bible and they will be part of a different blog. It took up the whole floor. There are six floors of the museum with floor having a different theme / part of the Bible. These photos are nice but one should go to the museum to really experience what they have and learn from what they show.  The upper part of the King James Bible sign.
