Part Three of my Trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC
This is the third part of my trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC. Ultimately I will be showing all 60 photos that I took there. It is too much for one blog.
I have been told that they would not last long since they charge a fee to enter. I think that what one learns and experiences at the museum is worth the fee to enter; which in my opinion is not much.
They showed the different editions of the King James Version.
I found this to be fascinating.
The room with the Bibles is very impressive. It seems to have vaulted ceilings that are found in some church buildings.
I think these scrolls are neat.
One can see there is a lot to see.
I think this was interesting and impressive; it was really big / wide.
The room is just as impressive as the contents in it.
This is the roof of the building. One can look out and see the surrounding buildings. Having a fear of heights, I did not get too close to the edge.
Even though there will be a lot of photos (about 60), it is not a replacement for actually being at the museum. It is definitely something to see at least once in ones life; especially for those who claim they are Christian; no matter what the denomination they belong to.
Here am I in front of a painted background.
