First Day at the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC

My brother and I went to the Museum of the Bible the first day of our vacation in Washington DC. Unfortunately, the museum closed early because of the news of snow. There wasn't much snow but it was DC and I guess they are not able to handle a lot of snow (or even much snow at all). These are the photos I took that day. Fortunately we were able to get a more complete adventure at the museum days later. The first day was like an appetizer for the complete meal that would happen a few days later.

This is the front of the museum. I took this photo across the street from it. I really liked this design. It really draws ones attention; in my opinion.

This is the one floor we were able to go through before they closed due to snow. It is the only floor we could get to before the museum closed.

I found these video interviews were fascinating. Each screen displayed a different person / actor portraying a person; if I remember correctly.

I think this is neat since it is the King James Authorized version.

I believe this was in their gift shop. They had some really nice things there.

This is the information on Whitfield's portable pulpit. It is a reproduction of the one Whitfield had used and taken with him.

This is Whitfield's portable pulpit. I wondered how he was able to get up there since it is a big step to the platform.

We were able to come back later but not have to buy new tickets. I think that was neat. I was definitely coming back to see more. I am glad I did.
